Journal of Infectiology is an international peer-reviewed, open access interdisciplinary journal. The aim of the journal is to promote and publish infectious diseases research with the complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in areas of infectious disease and clinical microbiology thereby improving the prevention and treatment of patients affected by such diseases. The Journal intends to bring together scientists and academicians in Infectious diseases to promote translational synergy between laboratory science, clinical medicine and public health.

The journal focuses on pathogenesis, diagnosis, epidemiology, therapy and prevention of infectious diseases of bacterial, viral, fungal or parasitic origin in humans; on disorders of host immune mechanisms; skin and soft tissue infections; sexually-transmitted diseases; respiratory infections; pediatric and neonatal infections; gastrointestinal infections; tropical and travel-associated diseases; and antimicrobial agents; antiviral therapy; vaccinations and advanced therapies etc.

It also covers basic biology and biochemistry of pathogens as well as applied medical aspects and implications for public health and policy.

The journal invites research article, case reports, editorial, review article, mini review article, conference proceedings, erratum and corrigenda, short communication, book review, letter to the editor, commentaries and opinions from all over the world.
